The Central Iowa Wrestling Officials Association (CIWOA) is a group of high school wrestling officials who live and officiate in Central Iowa. The group meets regularly during the wrestling season to:

- Discuss rules and proper mechanics in hopes of improving consistency amongst officials.
- Allow a forum to discuss tough calls you make and situations that arise on the mat.
- Promote the sport of wrestling.
- Recruit and mentor new officials.
- Support a scholarship program.
- Communicate logistical information to members.
- Provide schools and athletic directors with an easy way to hire officials for meets.
- Recognize members for reaching milestones in their careers.
- Create cohesiveness amongst officials through periodic social events.
